About the guide
Behind the Cascades Casino Penticton Guide
This site is an independent local guide to Cascades Casino Penticton, written for evenings in Penticton and the South Okanagan. Its editorial desk, the Channel Desk, puts its name to it, and no wagers are accepted here.

Who is behind the guide
The guide is not the casino. It is not Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited, the operator, and it is not BCLC. It takes no bets, and there are no accounts, no cashier and nothing to deposit.
Every page is signed by the Channel Desk, the editorial desk behind the site. No named author stands behind that byline. The desk describes the casino from the outside, the way a local would explain it to a friend in town for the lakes.
Where the facts come from
Facts on these pages come from the casino's own site, cascadescasinopenticton.com, and from the province of British Columbia and BCLC. Bus stop details come from BC Transit stop data, and map points from OpenStreetMap. The desk checked each fact on October 12, 2026.
Each figure measures a straight run from one map point to another. Road distance and driving time are not part of the figure. For the road route, use the directions button.
If the casino leaves something unpublished, the guide states that plainly rather than making a guess. Holiday hours are one example: they are not published, and the casino phone, 250-487-1280, is the way to check a holiday. Parking details are missing too, as is which games the 4 electronic table games offer.
How the paid links work
Within this guide, paid links appear on one page alone, the home page, with Ad beside each of them. Every such link points to an online casino owned privately, which goes unnamed and may be swapped for another. British Columbia neither licenses nor regulates that partner. Game Break, PlayNow limits and complaints to the IGCO therefore do not reach that site.
Help services, the province, BCLC and the casino itself: the guide takes no payment for linking to any of them.
What the pictures show
Every watercolour-style picture in this guide was painted by an image generator. Three were painted from real photographs of Cascades Casino Penticton. They show the terracotta wall with its logo and letters, the MATCH bar with its tap tower and windows onto the hills, and the entrance corridor's tufted banquette. Lake, river and dock scenes are imagined and show no real place. The blonde woman is made up, does not work at the casino and wrote no page; no guests or staff appear.
